I will say that Josh, our server, was very professional and made us feel very welcome. I believe there are elements of Asian cuisine that lend themselves to French preparations. There were candied pecans on the plate that I could not eat because they were so hot. Again, foie gras is a very delicate flavor and does not lend itself well to spicy accompaniments. I also ordered the Hudson Valley Foie Gras appetizer. The heat of the chili masked the delicate flavor and texture of the fish. appetizer which was garnished with chili soy and wasabi wonton chips, hardly things that you would find in French cooking.

She said they were not seating inside because it "was too cold".Outside there was a glass room which only had two couples, but she sat us outside in the garden, which was lovely but I am not a fan of eating outside. I told her we specifically wanted to sit inside because of all the history of. Our reservation was for inside, when we arrived the hostess took us outside. We booked this restaurant based on the outstanding reviews, menu and historic building.
